Each year, aspiring surveyors work towards achieving MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) status – a globally recognised qualification that demonstrates technical excellence, professionalism, and commitment to the highest industry standards. Our experienced team of Chartered Surveyors is proud to support candidates throughout this challenging but rewarding journey. With a number of RICS registered Mentors, Counsellors, Assessors, and APC Chairs within our business, Phoenix Consulting provides comprehensive support tailored to each candidate’s individual development needs.
Our APC support includes:
- Acting as RICS Counsellors and Mentors throughout the APC journey.
- Providing structured guidance to help candidates achieve the required competency levels.
- Reviewing and advising on final submission documentation.
- Delivering detailed feedback to strengthen submissions before assessment.
- Hosting realistic mock interview sessions with a full panel of experienced Assessors and an APC Chair.
- Providing personalised revision guidance and interview preparation ahead of the final assessment.
These practical experiences help candidates build confidence while preparing for one of the most important milestones in their professional careers.

In 2025, Phoenix Consulting successfully supported two candidates in achieving MRICS Chartership, with candidates consistently highlighting the value of our mentoring and, in particular, the mock interview sessions in preparing them for their final APC assessment.
